Residential Spray Foam Insulation

If you are looking to make your home more energy efficient and comfortable then our spray foam products are for you. Spray foam forms a barrier by blocking out cold drafts in the winter and keeping cool air in during warm summer months. It has been estimated that 40% of a home’s heating or cooling loss results from air flow through cracks beneath the sill plate, around wall outlets and windows, along duct runs, and other leak sources throughout the building envelope. Stopping that air flow can result in up to a 60% reduction in your heating and cooling bills!

Not only does the solid nature and seal-ability of spray foam inhibit drafts but it also creates a barrier against insects and rodents. Spray foam adds to the structural integrity of your home and it also helps reduce exterior noise.

An additional benefit of spray foam is its high resistance to water. It is listed as a Class 5 Flood Damage-Resistant Material per FEMA. This means it is “highly resistant to floodwater damage, including damage caused by moving water. These materials can survive wetting and drying and may be successfully cleaned after a flood to render them free of most harmful pollutants.”

Creating  an energy efficient home may allow you to qualify for an Energy Efficient Mortgage. An EEM allows a lender to stretch both the housing debt-to-income ratio and the total debt-to-income ratio two percentage points. These ratios are typically 28% and 36%. This two point stretch increases those qualifying ratios to 30% and 38%.  Just another benefit to using spray foam insulation in your home.
